The ice climbing wall at the Ice Factor, Kinlochleven
There are a number of local walks in the village including the grey mare’s tail and Mamore lodge walk. Fishing permits can be purchased at the aluminium story and there is ample space on the river to enjoy yourself.
For the more adventurous the Ice Factor indoor climbing wall has a number of facilities for outdoor pursuits .
For further outdoor pursuits it’s only fitting that Lochaber is known as the Outdoor Capital of the UK.
Mountain Biking at Nevis Range
There is no limit on the amount of things you can try to pack in either for a short break or for a full holiday; these range from sea kayaking to orienteering and from white water rafting to mountain biking. But watch out in June as the World Mountain Bike championships take place and it’s pretty busy.
